DYT HAS IMPROVED MARINE CARGO INSURANCE PROGRAM

Any yacht owner booking a voyage with DYT will have the benefit of a complete insurance package, which is carefully designed to make your yacht transport experience safe and simple.

Every year since the start of the Marine Cargo Insurance program in 2004, DYT has succeeded in improving the program for the benefit of its clients. Also for 2006, DYT has been able to secure broader coverage for both the Cargo and Liability programs.

Throughout last year, DYT's broker Nausch, Hogan & Murray, has pursued underwriters throughout the market with the objective of incorporating the "Physical Damage" coverage of a standard operating yacht policy into the DYT Marine Cargo program and expanding the current Riders Liability coverage to also cover the liability for the Riders and Crew under P & I (Protection and Indemnity) conditions.

The program now includes:

• Marine Cargo Insurance: broadened coverage to include operating machinery damage during loading and unloading.
• Optional Port Risk Insurance: all yachts booked with DYT will have the option of purchasing Port Risk Insurance (up to $10M USD) for minimum thirty (30) days intervals. This option is very beneficial for yacht brokers or owners who purchase a yacht in one location and need port risk coverage prior to, or after their yacht is transported via DYT to their final destination.
• Marine Liability Insurance has been expanded to provide ALL yacht owners throughout the voyage up to $10M of Protection and Indemnity (P&I) Coverage extending to and including crew.

The current package is very comprehensive and is provided at no extra cost to the yacht owner, reducing the total cost of transportation and giving the yacht owner the comfort and convenience of "one stop" shopping. More information is available at: www.yacht-transport.com
