The Mediterranean

The Mediterranean's reputation as the cradle of western civilization is undisputed. The beauty of its scenery as well as the wealth of things to see and to do ashore more than make up for the less than exhilarating sailing conditions.

In most parts of the Mediterranean, the sailing season extends from the end of March until November.
It is possible to sail even in winter but a careful eye has to be kept on the weather as violent storms can occur with little warning.
